Spellington Diary. Day 1.

Hundreds of hours of work later, a stable and complete version of "Spellington Adventures" app has been released to google play.

It is the zero day. What actions will I take to try to promote the app among the other million educational apps is uncertain. The chances of success are so low that it is terrifying to think about it altogether.

A month after releasing the first version of the app, I have a slim 8 active devices. Needless to say I have been working in stealth mode. No one knew about its existence, so it is kinda shocking somebody found the app in the Play Store.

Sad store listing acquisitions graphic.

I have personally set a goal of 1000 downloads in 30 days starting today. To be honest, I don't know whether this is realistic. It just sounded like a feasible number.

As a first step, I have written a post on Linked in where I tell the world about the app. Hopefully this can drive some downloads, generate some visibility and let the ball roll.

Next step, maybe create a product hunt ? Any insights would be much appreciated.

I am really excited about day 1. Let's see what day 2 brings.
